About Us
CTL Forest Management, Inc. (CTL) has provided specialized forestry management and low-impact environmental restoration services to federal and state land managers, NGOs, and private landowners since 1978. Our team can mobilize the right people, skills, and equipment to help organizations implement the most sensitive and challenging forest restoration and vegetation clearing projects. CTL is committed to excellence and creating innovative and flexible solutions for our Local, State, and Federal clients.
In 2018 CTL responded to the Camp Fire for the initial stabilization of the disaster area. Then in 2020, CTL perfected its roadside hazard operations during the Camp Fire hazard tree removal response. In the Camp Fire project, vegetation ranged from mixed conifer forests at the higher elevations to oak woodland at the lower elevations. The project was made complex by steep slopes, water courses, and anadromous stream regulations. This is where CTL developed the operations we now offer for current and future clients.
