About Us
At CTL, we’re more than a forestry management company — we’re problem-solvers, environmental stewards, and community protectors. For decades, we’ve combined expertise, innovation, and respect for the land to provide services that balance safety, sustainability, and economic vitality. From hazard tree removal to large-scale infrastructure projects, CTL is committed to protecting lives, supporting industries, and strengthening the natural resources that sustain us all.
In 2018 CTL responded to the Camp Fire for the initial stabilization of the disaster area. Then in 2020, CTL perfected its roadside hazard operations during the Camp Fire hazard tree removal response. In the Camp Fire project, vegetation ranged from mixed conifer forests at the higher elevations to oak woodland at the lower elevations. The project was made complex by steep slopes, water courses, and anadromous stream regulations. This is where CTL developed the operations we now offer for current and future clients.
